Studying cicadas at the KU Field Station

Students from KU study 17-year cicadas at the KU Field Station, Friday, June 5, 2015.

Cindy Mayer

Any student wants to see everything with his own eyes. It is too boring for them to read the theory. That’s why such field stations can give more than hours spent in the classroom or in the library. At the same time, it is a great inspiration and motivation for some researches and even essay writing. I know students, who managed to describe things seen in such excellent manner that such services will be amazed with the result. So, I hope modern student will be offered more and more opportunities for their development and growth.
