I plan on living to be at least one hundred so it is nice to see what I have to look forward to. Full of vim and vigor. Remember, people, it all begins in the mind, as you think so are you.

Go forth and prosper.

Fern is such an inspiration to me. I should be so lucky.

I met her out there in line this afternoon. She's a pip. I hope LJW and KU can get together to let her into the Anschutz Sports Pavillion early on Thursday, and put her in a chair on the front row to see President Obama. It's going to be much too cold that morning for a centenarian to wait in line outside, even if she is a hearty Kansan.

It would be nice if they could arrange for Obama to meet her personally.

Dorothy, what a great idea. Journal World people, can't you arrange something? It would be the perfect photo op and Fern does deserve it.

I hope she gets to sit on the stage next to the President!
