Columbus Must Go Protest

Eighth-grade students from Liberty Memorial Central Middle School, staged the 2nd annual Columbus Must Go protest march Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. Students suggested alternate historical figures to replace Columbus, including African-American civil rights activist, Rosa Parks, Native American leader of the Oglala Lakota, Crazy Horse and African-American abolitionist Harriet Tubman.
