I'm a former employee, long time donor, and volunteer at LCS. Just so no one gets the wrong idea about Trey from Elvyn Jones article, Trey's a talented guy who did wonderful things at the shelter. It's a tough, tough business and it took Trey to bring stability back to LCS after Loring's retirement. I spent some time at LCS today and did not speak to anyone who supports Trey's removal. For whatever reason he was fired, at the very least he should have been given a second chance. He was that valuable to the guests and employees at LCS. Question: Can someone please tell me what part the Board of Directors plays in fundraising for LCS?
