Sound Off: How many presidential debates will there be?
President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney will meet three times this month, with the first debate set for 8-9:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday. That debate will focus on domestic policy. On Tuesday, Oct. 16, Obama and Romney will participate in a town hall meeting that covers foreign and domestic policy. That meeting will air from 8-9:30 p.m. CDT.
On Monday, Oct. 22, the final presidential debate will focus on foreign policy. It also runs from 8-9:30 p.m. CDT.
Additionally, Vice President Joe Biden and Rep. Paul Ryan will meet in a debate covering foreign and domestic policy from 8-9:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday, Oct. 11.
All debates will be broadcast live on ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, as well as on cable channels including CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and C-SPAN, among others.
