The Douglas County Treasurer’s Office banks at UMB, 1441 Wakarusa Drive. According to County Treasurer Paula Glichrist, the county uses UMB because it offers a sweep account, which provides a higher interest rate for money that isn’t being used. It also has a lock box service, which allows the county to more quickly process tax payments.
