Roberts and Colon

Michael and Karen Roberts, Lawrence, an­nounce the marriage of their daughter, Alicia Roberts, Washington, DC, to David Colón also of Washington, DC, son of Edith and Dolores Antonio Colón, of Puerto Rico. Erica Gudenkauf, Lawrence, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Ricky Rivera, Seattle, served as best man. Caden, Carson, and Cohen Gudenkauf, nephews of the bride, served as ring bearers. Luis Colón, brother of the groom, served as the officiant. The bride is a 2000 graduate of Free State High School. She graduated in 2005 from Kansas State Uni­versity with a degree in Architecture. She is employed by the engi­neering firm of Louis Berger as an Associate Vice President where she manages Federal Programs within the program and construc­tion services practice. The groom received his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida in Environ­ mental Engineering, and a MBA from Uni­versity of Maryland’s Robert H Smith Busi­ ness School. He has had a successful career in the US Navy as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer and as a nuclear reactor operator on the USS Von Steuben SSBN­632 submarine. He contin­ues his career in infra­ structure development for the Department of Defense. The couple was married on November 5, 2016, at the Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington, DC. They continue to live and work in Wash­ington, DC.


Kresky and Kempke

Courtney Kresky and Zachary Kempke were united in marriage on January 7, 2017 at the Oklahoma State University Alumni Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The ceremony was offi­ciated by Brad Wiley. Parents of the couple are Stephen and Debra Kresky of McPh­erson, Kansas and Larry and Cynthia Kempke of Lewisville, Texas. Donna Flores was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Burnett, Laura Roberts and Katrina Hogg. Flower girls were Flory Wiley and Addison Wiley. Mer­wyn Lynch was honor­ary ring bearer. Lucas Kempke was best man. Groomsmen were Jon Piatt, Kevin Tye and Clayton Lynch. Ryan Kresky and Wacey Har­rell were ushers. The wedding, re­ception, dinner and dance were held at the Oklahoma State University Alumni Center. The bride is a 2014 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in ac­ counting and a minor in animal science. She is an accountant at Stream Realty Partners of Dallas, Texas. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in animal science. He is employed at Hennessey Engineering, Inc. in Carrollton, Texas. The couple will be taking a wedding trip at a later date. The couple is at home in Lewisville, Texas.


Barton and Johnson

On December 31, 2016, Andy Barton and Danyelle Johnson were married in a private ce­remony on the beach in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The bride is the daugh­ter of Steve and Chalisa Johnson of Eudora, Kansas. The groom is the son of Joe and Terri Barton of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The bride and groom are both graduates of the Uni­versity of Tennessee. The bride works as a Deaf and Hard of Hear­ ing Teacher for Gene­ see Intermediate School District and the groom is employed at General Motors as an Automotive Engineer. The newlyweds reside in Lake Orion, Michigan, with their rescue dogs, Max and Molly.


Fox and Boland

Bryan and Laura Fox, Lawrence, KS, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Fox to Bryce Boland, son of Shawn and Lynne Bo­ land, Overbrook, KS. The future bride is a 2012 homeschool graduate and will graduate with her Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas in May. She works as a personal trainer for her own training business in Lawrence. The fu­ture groom is a 2013 homeschool graduate. He is pursuing his elec­trician's license and works as an electrician in Lawrence. Bryce and Olivia plan a May wed­ding.
