Jamie DeVore, Lawrence, and Adam Jones, McLouth, were married May 8, 2010, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Peter Luckey officiating. The bride is the daughter of James and Susan DeVore, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Jeff and Kathy Jones, McLouth. Matron of honor was Jennifer Myers. Maid of honor was Kimberly Rosen. Best man was Raymond Sproul. Bridesmaids were Monica Domann, Amanda Finney and Lisa Anthony. Junior bridesmaid was Cassidy Jones. Groomsmen were Brad Jones, Eric Deeken, Jesse Davis and Ken Marah. Ushers were Joshua DeVore and David Campbell. A reception was given at the Lawrence Holidome. The bride is a 2000 graduate of Lawrence High School, a 2004 graduate of Kansas University and a teller supervisor at Capital City Bank. The groom is a 2001 graduate of McLouth High School and Kaw Area Technical School. He is a welder for Hamm Construction. The couple reside in Lawrence.



Vicki Eudaly, Lawrence, along with Donald Robinson, Madison, Wis., and Maxine Brennan, Baldwin City, announce the engagement of their children, Nicole Danielle Eudaly, Lawrence, and Trevor James Robinson, San Diego. The future bride is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2004 graduate of Washburn University Nursing School. She is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at St. Luke’s South in Overland Park. The future groom will graduate with a drafting and design degree from ITT Technical Institute in Kansas City, Mo., this fall, and installs windows and doors for Lowe’s in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The couple plan a Sept. 18, 2010, wedding at Stony Point Hall in Baldwin City.



Gala Banks, Pratt, and Joe Smysor, Lawrence, were married June 5, 2010, at First Southern Baptist Church in Pratt, with the Rev. Joe DiVietro officiating. The bride is the daughter of Galen and Carolyn Banks, Pratt. The groom is the son of Francis and Laura Smysor, Lawrence. Maid of honor was Amber Bortz. Best man was Matt Smysor. Best man of honor was Tim Burgess. Bridesmaids were Gretchen Banks and Julie Banks. Groomsmen were Rahul Gogineni and Stuart Bell. Wedding hosts were Stuart and Susan Bell and Beverly Smith Billings. A reception followed at the church. The bride is a 2005 graduate of Pratt High School and will graduate from Kansas University Medical Center with a master’s degree in occupational therapy next May. The groom is a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School and is a web developer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Kansas City, Mo. The couple reside in Kansas City, Kan.


High and Anderson

Laura High and Christopher Anderson, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement. The future bride is the daughter of Mike Sefsik, Raleigh, N.C., and Kim High, Lawrence. She is a 2002 graduate of Eudora High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in painting from Kansas University in 2006. She is employed at Hastings. The future groom is the son of Gary and Sharon Anderson, Round Lake Beach, Ill. He is a 2002 graduate of Grayslake High School, attended KU, and is employed at Pizza Hut. The couple plan a Dec. 4, 2010, wedding in Lawrence.


Smaczniak and Noller

Steve and Kate Noller, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jordan Noller, Lawrence, to Steve Smaczniak, Cheektowaga, N.Y. The future bride is a graduate of Bishop Seabury Academy. She earned an undergraduate degree from Knox College, where she now is a post baccalaureate fellow. The future groom is the son of Henry and Marilyn Smaczniak, Cheektowaga. He is a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He earned an associate degree from Borough of Manhattan Community College, an undergraduate degree from Knox College and a graduate degree from Columbia College. He is a professor of first-year writing at Columbia. The couple plan an April 29, 2011, wedding at Longview Mansion in Lee’s Summit, Mo.
