Coffman Dale and Peggy Coffman, Lawrence, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their daughters and their families at their home on Dec. 27, 2008. Peggy L. Cowan and Alfred “Dale” Coffman were married Dec. 27, 1948, in Lawrence. Dale has been in the trucking business for 35 years in Lawrence. Prior to the trucking business, he did auto body repair. Peggy is a homemaker. They have two daughters, Joyce and husband, Jerry Cromwell, Lawrence, and Sandy and husband, Tom White, Eudora; and a son, Gary, and wife, Judy Coffman. They have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.
