Willette and Woodliff
Elizabeth Woodliff and Ryan Willette were married Sept. 8, 2007, at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University, with Judge Jack Murphy and the Rev. John Schmeidler officiating. The bride is the daughter of Guy and Cile Woodliff IV, Charlotte, N.C., and Priscilla Woodliff, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Scott and Mary Ann Willette, Lawrence. The bride's attendants were Jon Petr, Sala Prahdan, Jen Weigel and Katie Woodliff. The groom's attendants were Chris Willette, Scott Boring, Samantha Sturdevant and Guy Woodliff V. Ushers were Jake and Matthew Manda. Flower girl was Kate Willette. Candle lighters were Martin, Andrew and Julian Willette. A reception was given at the Eldridge Extended. The couple are graduates of Lawrence High School. Elizabeth received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Washburn University and a Master of Science in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is employed as a nurse practitioner in Norfolk, Va. Ryan received an electrical engineering degree and participated in Navy ROTC at Kansas University. He is a Navy officer stationed at Naval Amphibious Base-Little Creek in Virginia. The couple reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
Durrill and Kuester
Kelly Kuester and Joshua Durrill were married June 2, 2007, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence, with Dennis Kuester officiating. The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Pat Kuester, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Steven and Linda Durrill, Odessa, Mo. Maid of honor was Stephanie Dyson. Best man was Adam Harvey. Bridesmaids were Maria Horne and Desiree Vansickle. Groomsmen were Jeremy Durrill and Josh Horne. Flower girl was Isabella Rothwell. Ushers were Grant Kohlmann and Wayne Rucker. Coordinator was Molly Bungert. The soloist was Miriam Hillmer. Jenni Friend and Katie Friend were vocalists, and Kristen Gaus was the pianist. A reception was given at the Adams Alumni Center. Kelly is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School and attended Rockhurst University. She is employed by Stoltz Management Corp. in Overland Park and also teaches private piano lessons. Joshua graduated from Odessa High School in 1998. He is in the Missouri Army National Guard and served one tour of duty in Iraq. The couple reside in Grain Valley, Mo.

Eva Bauer and Luke Schooler were married Aug. 4, 2007, at Westview Community Church in Manhattan, with Pastor Bob Flack officiating. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Susan Bauer, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Keith and Jody Schooler, McPherson. Maid of honor was Stephanie Gonzales. Best man was Erik Rotramel. Bridesmaids were Beth Harvey, Eleanor Burton, Julie Powell and Erin Schooler. Groomsmen were Josh Adrian, Nick Regier, Kent Hildebrand and Luke Bauer. Flower girl was Jenny Gillespie. Ring bearer was Jack Reed. A reception followed at Presby Place at First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. Eva graduated from Free State High School in 2002 and received a Bachelor of Science in family studies and human services from Kansas State University in 2007. She is employed at TFI Family Services. Luke graduated from McPherson High School in 2002 and received a Bachelor of Science in horticulture from K-State. He is pursuing a master's degree in landscape architecture. The couple reside in Manhattan.
Sunday Werkheiser and Tim James were married Sept. 30, 2007, at their home in Lawrence, with Mario Tabias officiating. The bride is the daughter of Larry and Peggy Werkheiser, Buckhannon, W.Va.
