Carolyn and Robert Glenn, Lecompton, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Lecompton United Methodist Church. Carolyn Kent and Robert Glenn were married Oct. 3, 1966, in Stull. Robert retired from DuPont cellophane plant in Tecumseh after 31 years of service. Their children are Myrna Hartford, Lawrence; Cynthia Burgin, Greenwood, Mo.; and Tracy Ewy, Eudora. They have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
