Coates-Rockhold Charlene Coates and Keith Rockhold were married Dec. 18, 2005, at Worden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale Lewis officiating. Dalquest Donald and Jo Ann Dalquest, Lawrence, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sunday. They were married March 5, 1966, in Novato, Calif. Donald is a retired law enforcement officer who served the city of Lawrence and Douglas County for 30 years. He works part-time at Lawrence Municipal Court and is active with the American Legion. Jo is retired from the county clerk's office where she served Douglas County for 26 years. Their children are Erica and Eric Spurling, Lawrence; and Marcie and Philip Pell, Olathe. They have four grandchildren.
Winter A.K. and Charlene Winter, Lecompton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering. A.K. Winter and Charlene Luckan were married March 6, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence. Both are lifelong residents of Douglas County. A.K. worked for FMC and Quaker Oats and farmed near Lecompton. Charlene worked for Perry-Lecompton schools, Aeroquip, Visiting Nurses Assn. and Rural Water District No. 6 and helped on the farm. They are both active volunteers in Lecompton and Lawrence. Their children are Mary and Tracy Icenogle, Roeland Park; Sharon Lewis, Burlington, and the late Brad Lewis; and the late Annette Winter Bohon. They also have five grandchildren.

Aeschliman Eldon "Ash" and Mary Jo Aeschliman, Grantville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 11 at the Sunrise Optimist Club Building, 720 N.W. 50th St., Topeka. A family dinner will precede the reception. Ash Aeschliman, Sabetha, and Mary Jo Brunson, Greeley, Colo., met at Ottawa University. They were married March 11, 1956, at First Baptist Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Roger Fredrikson officiating. Their children are Rick Aeschliman, Topeka; Roger and Robyn Aeschliman, Topeka; Ronna von Knorring, Costa Rica; Ruthann and Bret Sanford, Lecompton; and Karen and Steeven Orr, Lecompton. They have nine grandchildren. Ash retired from State Farm Insurance Cos. in 1996. He does seasonal farming in the Grantville area.
