Bill and Linda McCoy, Eudora, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. Willie "Bill" McCoy and Linda Peters were married June 18, 1966, at Lawrence Friends Church in Lawrence. Bill attended high school in Poteau, Okla. He attended Haskell Indian Nations University from 1964-66. He served in the U.S. Army. Bill worked for Haskell from 1980 until retiring Jan. 3. Linda attended Lawrence High School from 1963 to 1966. She retired from Haskell in 1999. Their children are Mike McCoy, Lawrence, and Paula Wimmer, Eudora. They have six grandchildren.
