Ann Rasmussen, Lawrence, and Christopher Lounsbury, Leavenworth, were married July 9, 2005, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Peter Luckey and Damian Efta officiating. The bride is the daughter of Keith and Peggy Rasmussen, Lawrence. The groom is the son of John Lounsbury, Lawrence, and the late Nancy Lounsbury. Matron of honor was Jill Chard. Best man was John Lounsbury. Bridesmaids were Angela Guinn, Kim Rasmussen, Nancy Rasmussen and Erin Rasmussen. Groomsmen were Todd Lounsbury, Bill Cannon, Mark Jarboe and Darrin Downing. Candle lighters were Carly Rasmussen and Sam Guinn. Flower girls were Kathryn Rasmussen and Sarah Lounsbury. Guest book attendant was Lisa Lounsbury. Ushers were Greg Rasmussen, John Rasmussen, Neal Rasmussen and Aaron Chard. Readers were Geri Parscale and Mike Metz. A reception was given at Alvamar Country Club. The bride is a Lincoln High School graduate. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Kansas State University and a Master of Science degree in education from Kansas University. She is employed with the Lawrence Public Schools. The groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Sterling College and a Master of Science degree in education from KU. He is working on an education specialist degree at the University of Kansas City-Missouri. He is employed at Leavenworth Public Schools. The couple reside in Lawrence.



Milivoje Dimitrijevic and Fiorella Tazza were married June 4, 2005, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. The bride is the daughter of Rosa Trucios Torella, Kansas City, and the late Alejandro Tazza. The groom is the son of Miroslava Dimitrijevic, Belgrade, Serbia, and the late Berislav Dimitrijevic, and the foster son of Patricia and Michael Lechtenberg, Lawrence. Maid of honor was Alejandra Tazza Gomez. Best man was Rich Benjes. Bridesmaids were Amanda Benevides, Valentina Zima, Julia Shuklaper, Anja Dimitrejivic and Lorie Shiftman. Groomsmen were Mathew Lechtenberg, Grant Lechtenberg, Chris Drayer, Michael Cinsinaros and Nadia Slatanova. Flower girl was Natasha Lechtenberg. Ring bearers were Bradly Lechtenberg and Diego Gomez. Ushers were Susan Lechtenberg and Drew Lechtenberg. Michelle Mailand and Britney Mailand were lectors. Guest book attendants were Christina Benjes and Silvia Tazza. A dinner and dance reception was given in Lawrence. The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Caribbean. The couple reside in Kansas City.

She is an SBC relay operator for the hearing impaired. The future groom is the son of Nancy Smith, Leawood. He is a planner and buyer for Knit-Rite Inc. The couple plan an Oct. 15 wedding at Shirk's Barn in Lawrence.


La Clair

Charles and Melanie Waymaster, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey Waymaster, Dallas, and Charles La Clair, Dallas, son of Charles and Claudia La Clair, Bisbee, Ariz. The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Lucas-Luray High School. She received an associate's degree in respiratory therapy in 2002 and a bachelor's degree in health care administration in 2005 from Washburn University. She works as a neonatal respiratory therapist and is employed by Dallas Presbyterian Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit. The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Buena High School in Sierra Vista, Ariz. He received a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2000, a master's degree in information systems in 2002 and a master's degree in business administration in 2003 from the University of Arizona. He works for Raytheon in Dallas. The couple plan an Oct. 22 wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence.



Brandi McKenzie and Ruston Vincent, both of Ozawkie, announce their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry and Janice McKenzie, Eudora, and Rhonda and Ivan Hunt Jr., Wellsville. She is a Eudora High School graduate and is employed at the Lawrence Journal-World. The future groom is the son of Holly Vaughn, Kaplan, La., and the late C.J. Vincent. He is a graduate of Abbeville High School, Abbeville, La., and is an aviation mechanic at Fort Riley. The couple plan an October wedding at Lake Shawnee in Topeka.



The Revs. Ray and Sharon Morrison, Webb City, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Kay Morrison, to Luke Emil Finger, son of Mark and Jonnie Finger, Lawrence. The bride-to-be is a 1993 graduate of Lighthouse Christian School in Rockport, Texas. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas A&M University in 2000. She is pursuing a master's degree in marriage and family counseling from an online university. The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Free State High School. He received a bachelor's degree in middle secondary social studies education from Kansas University in 2003. He is employed in the dispatch office of Penny's Concrete in Shawnee. He serves as worship leader for Mustard Seed Fellowship. The couple plan a Sept. 24 wedding at the Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship in Lawrence.
