Turner was pastor at Plymouth Congregational Church, but due to a fire in the chapel that year, the ceremony was held at Trinity Lutheran Church. Marion attended Baldwin High School and Baker University. He retired after 41 years as assistant director of facility operations at Kansas University. Charlotte attended Liberty Memorial High School, was a homemaker and active in schools and Scout activities. They have lived in the Cordley area for more than 46 years. Their children are Michael Muckey, Olathe; Keith Muckey, Baldwin; and Cynthia, Lawrence. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
