Jerry is a lawyer, and Lela is a retired teacher. They are both Kansas University graduates. Their children are Beth and Andy Millikan, Overland Park, and John and Susan Cooley, Lenexa. They have four grandchildren.
Barbara and Allen Kelley, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Cancun, Mexico. They were married April 10, 1955, in Oskaloosa. Their children are Allen Kelley, Lawrence; Kirsten Reecy, Tremont, Ill.; and Jeffrey Kelley, West Linn, Ore. They also have 11 grandchildren.
Brenda and Rick Gammill, Lawrence, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a reception March 20 in Lawrence. They were married Feb. 14, 1975, in Eudora. Rick is the director of special operations, safety and transportation for Lawrence public schools. Brenda is the administrative services supervisor for Douglas County Youth Services. Their children are Lisa Martin, Lawrence; Lesley Clutchey, Lenexa; and John-Todd Gammill, Lawrence. They also have a grandson.
