Keith Nitcher and Hazel Johnson were married April 18, 1945, at the home of the bride's parents in Pomona. Keith served in the Army during World War II. He was comptroller at Kansas University and became university director of business and fiscal affairs in 1957. He retired in 1993. Hazel was a public school teacher. The couple's children are: Charles and Sandra Savell, Overland Park; Bob and Jan Nitcher, Baldwin; John and Katy Nitcher, Lawrence; and Ron and Cindy Nitcher, Lawrence. They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
